Taste for Empowerment

The Spina Bifida Resource Network is proud to present the Third Annual Taste for Empowerment event on Monday, October 25, 2010. The event will be held at L’Affaire Fine Catering (1099 U.S. 22 Mountainside, NJ 07092-2809 (908) 232-4454). The event will take place from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Please join the effort and help make a difference. Help empower those who suffer with Spina Bifida. This should be an unforgettable evening. The evening will showcase and promote gourmet specialty items from many of New Jersey’s finest restaurants and spirits distributors. There will also be live jazz music and a silent auction. Harvest for Hunger

Cathedral Kitchen is proud to present their 4th Annual Harvest for Hunger on Friday, October 29, 2010. The event will be held at Collingswood Grand Ballroom (315 White Horse Pike, Collingswood, NJ). The event will take place from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. Each month, the Cathedral Kitchen provides approximately 8,000 hot nutritious meals to the poor and hungry of Camden, NJ. The mission of Cathedral Kitchen “is to provide meals and other services to the poor and hungry of the city of Camden without regard to race, religion or sex.” The people who come to the Kitchen to eat are among the poorest residents of the city: homeless, jobless, those with disabilities, addiction issues, the working poor. The ages range from infants to elderly. Everyone is welcomed and given a hearty meal. They also provide clothing and house hold items.

The Honorary Event Chair is Terry Ruggles NBC 10 News Today Anchor. Over 200 wines, microbrew beers and spirits will be available for tasting. Hors d’oeuvres will be served as guests take chance on gift baskets. The evening will also feature a live auction for wine and other prizes including a vacation on Martha’s Vineyard & a trip to California’s wine country. Tickets for the event are $60.00

2010 13th Annual NYC Chocolate Show

Please join CMSC Spirits Group at The 2010 NYC Chocolate Show which will take place at the Metroplitan Pavilion in New York City (135 West 18th Street, NY, NY 10011). This is an exciting 4 day show featuring hundreds of chocolate exhibitors. This year’s show will also feature book signings by award-winning authors; cooking demonstrations in two culinary theaters, featuring renowned chocolatiers & pastry chefs who will share secrets of the trade; a Kids Zone, a VIP Chocolate Lounge and a Chocolate Fashion Show.

Marlboro Educational Foundation

Please join CMSC Spirits Group at the Marlboro Educational Foundation’s 5th Annual Restaurant Tasting Evening. The event will take place November 15, 2010 at Excelsior Caterers (355 US Highway 9 Englishtown, NJ 07726). Reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. Join us for a great evening of food and beverage tasting along with a fabulous silent auction. New Jersey’s top Restaurants, Wine and Liquor Suppliers, Dessert Purveyors will all be participating in this special event.
The Marlboro Educational Foundation, formed in 2000, is a group of Marlboro residents and area business people dedicated to enriching the educational experience of the township's K-8 school children.
